Strong Foundations Physiotherapy
Supporting You Through Every Stage of Life
Welcome to Strong Foundations Physiotherapy
Whole Person Care for Every Stage of Life
Welcome to Strong Foundations Physiotherapy, a holistic physiotherapy practice built to support, empower, and restore. We understand the unique physical and emotional journey that people travel throughout life, from adolescence, through motherhood, and into the later years. Our evidence based approach integrates physiotherapy, movement, and mental wellbeing to provide the care you deserve.
Hi, I’m Tracey, and welcome to Strong Foundations Physiotherapy. As a mum of two, I know firsthand how important exercise is, not only for strength, but also for mental health.
When I studied women’s health, I realised how many mixed messages were out there, and how vulnerable both pregnancy and postpartum women, as well as older adults, can be when it comes to exercise. Too many programs rely on bed or chair exercises that don’t progress, and they don’t prepare you for the demands of daily life.
That’s why my approach is different. I use evidence-based, functional training with progressive overload, gradually increasing the challenge so your strength and resilience actually improve. The other thing I really focus on is helping people return to exercise sooner, without relying on outdated guidelines or “rules” that aren’t supported by evidence. For women especially, it’s not about waiting for six months, it’s about individualising the approach so you can get back to running, lifting, or whatever brings you joy, safely and effectively.
Strong foundations build strong people, and that’s the vision behind everything I do here.
